Description

The script calculates cop timeseries of small-scale air-water heat pumps for decentralized use.

The quality grade QUALITY_GRADE of the air-source heat pump is assumed to be 0.4 according to: VDE ETG Energietechnik, VDE-Studie “Potenziale für Strom im Wärmemarkt bis 2050 - Wärmeversorgung in flexiblen Energieversorgungssystemen mit hohen Anteilen an erneuerbaren Energien”. 2015. The high temperature of the heat pump temp_high is assumed to be 50 °C According to the guidebooks of leading manufacturers, such as that of Buderus https://www.buderus.de/de/waermepumpe/vorlauftemperatur, a heat pump is operated efficiently up to a temperature of 50 °C. Furthermore, this value is close to the specification of the temperature of a modern radiator in the given guidebook.
